A full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be hired in the Psychiatry Neuroimaging

Laboratory, Department of Psychiatry, Brigham and Women's Hospital. The fellow will

work under the supervision and mentorship of Dr. Martha E. Shenton, Professor,

Departments of Psychiatry and Radiology, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard

Medical School, on the Accelerating Medicines Partnership in Schizophrenia (AMP

SCZ, https://www.ampscz.org), a global research project funded by the Foundation for

the National Institute of Health (FNIH) and the National Institute of Mental Health

(NIMH) to generate tools that will help develop early-stage treatments for individuals at

risk for schizophrenia. The research fellowship provides an outstanding opportunity to

work on two U24-funded research projects investigating Clinical High Risk (CHR) for

psychosis including an observational study of CHR biomarkers related to cognition,

brain structure and function, fluid biomarkers, genetic vulnerability and communication

and a CHR Proof of Principle (PoP) clinical trial to target pathophysiologically relevant

mechanisms.

The Postdoctoral Fellow's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Familiarization with all aspects of both AMP SCZ CHR research projects.

2. Assisting with quality control and curation of data collected as part of the AMP

SCZ CHR projects.

3. Analyzing and modelling complex datasets, including neuroimaging, behavioral,

and clinical data.

4. Preparation of high-quality reports and presentations for national and

international meetings.

5. Assisting with grant writing and manuscript preparation.

6. Leading first author manuscript submissions and building an active

research/publication record.

7. Supervision of research assistants and undergraduate research trainees.

Qualifications

1.Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Clinical Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Psychology,

Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

2. Background in data processing, statistics, biostatistics, data modeling, machine

learning, or AI approaches (R, SAS, Python, or similar) is desired but not

required.

3. Experience in processing and analysis of neuroimaging data desired but not

required.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

6. Demonstrated first author publication record or pre-print experience.

7. Background in clinical research in psychosis is advantageou
