Summary: We are seeking a skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join our team on a contingent resource assignment. The ideal candidate will participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering, contributing to large-scale planning and resolving operational challenges. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with client personnel and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Systems Operations Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Systems Operations Engineering challenges, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues, consulting with others to meet Systems Operations Engineering deliverables.
• Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Systems Operations Engineering to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Lead or triage major incidents management.
• Perform problem management to identify root cause and implement preventative actions.
• Monitor application health and reduce alerts and failures.
• Monitor batch and feed management processes.
• Investigate and troubleshoot failures.
• Support disaster recovery exercises.
• Drive solutions to reduce recovery times.
• Resolve troublesome trends as they develop.
• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 3+ years of experience in at least 2 databases: Ab Initio, Teradata, Hadoop, or Oracle.
• 3+ years of experience in Autosys.
• 3+ years of experience in Unix shell scripting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Informatica.
