Leidos Dynetics Electronics Manufacturing Operations is growing rapidly and has immediate need for an experienced Program Manager with particular subject matter expertise in electronics assembly and electronics manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in project and program management and execution in an Electronics Manufacturing environment. The position requires technical understanding of various electronics assembly technologies and the manufacturing processes necessary to assemble electronics and supporting equipment to highest levels of industry, military, and space levels of quality assurance.

The electronics assembly products manufactured include Printed Circuit Board Assemblies, Cable Harness Assemblies, high level Electromechanical Assemblies, and Instrumentation Racks. The Manufacturing Program Manager (MPM) supports the Electronics Manufacturing organization in the proposal and execution phases of the manufacture of these complex electronics for various DoD, intelligence and commercial customers.

The MPM works within a matrix organization and is responsible to coordinate the necessary resources with various line managers to ensure the program executes to customer expectations, and documented execution plans for cost and schedule. Resource requirements for each program include direct participation from matrix functions such as Material Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, Inventory Control, and Technical and Production Support Technicians. The MPM will be responsible for all associated tasks, costs, schedule, status reporting, estimates to completion, and scope of work monitoring.

Project environments are fast paced and quickly changing due to a variety of influences. The MPM in this position is responsible for a variety of potentially diverse projects and programs with different customers and varied scopes of work. Th MPM must be able to interpret, understand, and manage customer intent and be an effective liaison between our design and manufacturing teams in the fulfilment of designs optimized for manufacturability.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Direct operational management of multiple programs to meet established business standards and contractual requirements.
  • Direct point of contact and support of internal/external customers and our design teams to help define manufacturing requirements and plans.
  • Provide input to processes, standards, and operational plans to implement organizational strategies.
  • Provide hands-on Subject Matter Expertise in all facets of the program execution.
  • Monitor and direct matrixed staff operations.
  • Reviews work products for completeness and compliance with customer requirements across all operational tasks.
  • Manage all program required deliverables to on-time delivery at required quality levels
  • Leverage current programs and customer relationships to expand Scope of Work Requirements and establish new business.
  • Provide regular program status updates and reports to customers and organizational managers.
  • Calculate labor and material estimates to completion.
  • Provide labor and material estimates for new business opportunities.
  • Serves as a liaison between all entities between both commercial and defense program teams as well as senior leadership.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of prior relevant experience in electronics project or program management.
  • Four or more years of team management experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, interact, and succeed with multiple customers and stakeholders with varying expectations and requirements.
  • Manage and organize complicated and diverse scopes of work to ensure successful program execution.
  • Demonstrable and extensive experience with MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Hands-on technical experience with Product Life Management, Configuration Management, and Enterprise Resource database management systems, interface tools, and reporting.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering or other Technical Degree is a plus.
  • Ability to establish a vision, and executable plan around that vision.
  • Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to articulate messages, ideas, and information effectively to customers, management, technical resources, and groups.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
