Insight Global Evergreen is working with an AR VR technology leader in the Morgan Hill, CA area. We are looking for a Project Coordinator / Team Lead who will work with / manage a team of data collectors and assist the Project Manager with daily operations/administrative tasks necessary for successful delivery. The project involves testing prototype wearables, mainly serving as the DRI for uploading data collected from
those prototypes, but also assisting the Project Manager to supervise a remote data collection team. This is a short-to-medium term pilot project with an estimated duration of 3-4 months and the possibility of extension.
**Length of employment duration will be based on performance and/or the program needs.**

Responsibilities:
This position is 50% people manager/coordinator and 50% technician. You are expected to assist the Project Manager in coordinating a remote (East Coast) data collection team. You are also expected to work on site at a Morgan Hill, CA facility, interacting but not directly managing another data collection team stationed there. Some travel to another facility in Sunnyvale, CA may be expected infrequently. In general, the following
responsibilities are expected but not limited to:
Uploading of data is a desk-centric role may involve the following physical activities:
Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting.
Driving up to 4 hours a day to transport equipment or data to vendor site or client centers
Serve as the primary point of support and guidance for data collectors, answering questions, making decisions, assisting with troubleshooting
efforts, delivering supplies to field teams, etc.
Design and implement training plans for team members to be briefed and prepared for new data collection campaigns, ensuring comprehensive device and procedure testing and overseeing sufficient practice runs and delivery of test data for review
Work with Project Manager to translate client data collection requests into actionable procedures and parameters, generate standard operating procedure (SOP) documents, construct matrices (CMs) reflecting desired data variable distribution, etc
Design and generate tasks for team collection activities, ensuring proper functionality and inclusion of all necessary metadata
Maintain and update various tracking spreadsheets and other documents to reflect daily progress toward project goals and report KPIs
Communicate with data requestors, client engineers, and other stakeholders as needed to address technical issues, report progress, answer questions, coordinate equipment exchange, etc.
Perform quality assurance review of team data collections, reviewing a portion of each
team members submissions to ensure compliance with necessary project data collection procedures and parameters
Prepare for and conduct weekly team meetings to ensure universal understanding of current and upcoming project requirements, flag and record technical or administrative issues, communicate news and updates, etc

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to direct/coordinate individuals in a polite and courteous manner
Ability to follow security procedures to safeguard equipment
Ability to follow security procedures to safeguard any and all data collected
High-level verbal and written communication skills using email, instant messaging, and video conferencing (similar to Zoom or Slack)
Mature and confident interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to anyone
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and able to independently seek answers
Understanding of deadlines and milestones with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to read, understand, and follow documented procedures and escalate any questions/concerns
Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and working on Android/iOS and MacOS
Capable of carrying up to 25-30 lbs for short periods
Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods
Capable of working on a computer and/or collection devices for extended periods
Access to reliable form of transportation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Degree in STEM from an accredited college or university
Intermediary Excel/Sheets skill set
Familiarity with Project Management techniques/software
Intermediate experience with Linux devices
Intermediate experience with MacOS Terminal CLIs
