Location: South San Francisco, CA 94080 (ONSITE)

Duration: 9 months contract

Pay rate: $40-42/hr on W2Job Description:

Summary:

As the IT Project Coordinator/Manager, you will be part of the Project Management office and be assigned to one of these workstreams - Cutover, Testing, Functional or Partner Systems within the SAP S/4 deployment project.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for assisting and supporting the project manager and project team in the successful execution of projects. You will play a crucial role in coordinating and organizing project activities, resources, and documentation.
  • Assist the project manager with project planning activities, collaborating with the team on achieving the workstream objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage the various IT tools used within the workstreams such as Jira, Smartsheets
  • Assist in creating project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and clients
  • Schedule and conduct meetings, create project related documentation, and ensure that all parties are informed about project progress and changes.
  • Work with the project team to identify potential risks, assess their impact, and support with mitigation strategies.
  • Support with tracking and reporting on quality metrics to ensure project deliverables meet the defined standards.
  • Support with assessing change requests, evaluate their impact on project scope, timeline, and resources, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement approved changes

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Team-management and leadership skills
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
  • Attention to details even under pressure
  • Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
