Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour

Join our team as a Project Coordinator, where you'll oversee and coordinate the movement of shipments for our clients, both domestically and internationally. Working closely with various company offices, agents, and service providers, you'll ensure timely, cost-effective, and customized delivery of shipments. Your responsibilities will include tracking shipments, updating reports, entering data into operational systems, and collaborating with a Project Manager to resolve shipping issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery per customer requirements.
• Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, arrival notices, and invoices.
• Track and trace shipments, proactively alert clients as needed, and manage receipts.
• Resolve shipping issues including delays, damages, and lost shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and monitor transportation costs.
• Review freight invoices for accuracy and address discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum two years of experience in import/export, with a focus on ocean-related operations.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Basic understanding of logistics processes; experience with transportation management software preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management is desired; previous work in a transportation or logistics company is a plus.
