Department Summary

The Toulouse Graduate School, with its outstanding faculty, high academic standards, and diverse student body, provides abundant opportunities for graduate students by offering over 100 master's and doctoral programs in a variety of disciplines.

Position Overview

Administers the policies and procedures for the Toulouse Graduate School student assistance (scholarships, awards and fellowships) and out-of-state tuition waivers. Coordinates TGS website maintenance and enhancements. Manages all scholarship/awards allocations, as well as assist with forecasting for subsequent funding years. Coordinates with departments and external agencies. Duties include oversight of daily operations and internal and external communications. Serves as the primary contact for departments with questions about scholarship funding and presents information on graduate funding when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education, Psychology, Business, Data Science and four years of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across the University Develop and implement process improvement initiatives

Job Duties:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of scholarships, award, fellowships and grant sponsored scholarships processes.
  • Coordinate processing of TA/TF/RA and Faculty dependent employment waivers.
  • Monitor and maintain the Graduate Fellowship and Scholarship budget.
  • Oversee enhancements to TGS website that impact Admissions, UBSC, all academic colleges, and student services.
  • Oversee the course load reductions and compliance audits for awards/scholarships.
  • Coordinate processing and compliance with Academic Common Market THECB waiver.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of Student Financial Aid and Student Accounting policy manuals and procedures and keeps abreast of information that impacts the functioning of TGS.
  • Manage one staff member including hiring, training, development and evaluating performance.

Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm; occasional evenings and weekends
