Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Irving, TX 75038

Contract: 12 month initial contract with the potential to extend and/or convert to permanent placement.

Job Description:

Project Coordinator DUTIES:
  • Execute and maintain project management processes in the areas of project schedule, quality management, communications management, risk/issue management, and change management.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and calendars working under the guidance of the Lead PM.
  • Responsible for assisting the Lead PM on tracking project tasks assigned to the project team, project changes and producing updated schedules
  • Provide standard reporting, basic scheduling, meeting minutes and action items where needed.
  • Oversight of internal teams in various departments: Sales, Professional Services, IT Operations, Development teams, Release Management, Networking to secure client deliverables by interfacing with internal/external stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Build strong communication channels with these internal stakeholders and ensure smooth communication with the project team and other cross-functional teams.
  • Gather and report performance measurement of on-going progress.
  • Assist Lead PM with preparing and documenting Day 1/Day 2 support documentation and acceptance criteria.
Qualifications:
  • Needs 1-3 years of experience in Project Coordination, or supporting project management initiatives.
  • Experience in full lifecycle project tracking and data management.
  • Effective Communication skills, verbal and written, are REQUIRED!
  • Organizational skills necessary to
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in the Telecommunication industry is desired.
