Position Purpose:
The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in identifying and recommending quality improvement parameters through the application of statistical methods pertinent to manufacturing processes. This position ensures statistical confidence by meticulously defining sample sizes, acceptable errors, and confidence levels.
Essential Job Duties:
The Quality Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position, reporting directly to the Quality Manager and collaborating with Quality Technicians.

- Respond to customer complaints and initiate corrective actions in the customer or internal complaint system.

- Plan and suggest projects to reduce manufacturing costs, improve processes, enhance product quality and reliability, and increase process capability.

- Process Improvement and Standardization:
- Promote, support, and create process improvements within the quality department.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in a related engineering field with 5+ years of experience within a related field, OR 7+ years of experience within a related field, required.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field with 2+ years of relative experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
- Strong understanding of Quality Engineering principles and practices, including policies, ISO/audit compliance, and document control.
- Experienced in utilizing and interpreting CAD drawings.
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
