This position is required to help Lovejoy sales personnel and management focus on the strategic efforts needed to achieve short-term business plans and long-term sales / profit growth. The successful efforts of this position will go beyond clerical requirements to include assistance in communication, organization, and reporting tasks with both external and internal customers. This position is critical to improving the customer experience and to our ability to respond quickly and decisively to customer needs and needs presented throughout the Timken organization.

This position is required to help Lovejoy sales personnel and management focus on the strategic efforts needed to achieve short-term business plans and long-term sales / profit growth. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate customer data in SAP (ERP) and the Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)
- New account creation in SAP (ERP)
- Submit, monitor, and communicate progress of all change requests
- Perform audits to check on data accuracy of key accounts
- Create cross reference records linking customer items with Lovejoy items (update based on input from customer service and from pricing team when contracts are created or adjusted)
- Grow a deep understanding of all customer data points within the customer master records and audit customer master records for accuracy based on priority set from sales and customer service management
- Create end user accounts in CRM
- Add/update customer contact information to CRM
- Audit purchase orders and customer service email folders to find and add key contact information to CRM
- Support internal requests for contacts when SAP is not up to date
- Support Lovejoy sales representatives
- Provide responsive and accurate handling of all Lovejoy sales inbox emails and phone calls
- Perform timely and accurate rebate administration support such as creating and renewing rebate agreements (DACMS) and responding to claims department when branches, products or end users do not match current agreements.
- Provide first level support for eCommerce related inquiries and requests and support setting up customers on eCommerce tools; screen requests from customers to ensure configuration is appropriate based on criteria set by management
- Support Pricing team
- Send out price files upon request
- Provide support to customer service for items without a published price by obtaining pricing from product management and using a template, gaining approvals, and loading pricing into quotes
- Load approved MSRP prices and special prices in Lovejoy's pricing tool (PROS)
- Provide general back-up support for the pricing team as needed
- Sales Reporting
- Communicate overall sales performance via monthly and adhoc reporting to sales management and internal and external partners

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Associate's degree or higher is preferred
- 2 years of experience in sales support or inside sales is required
- 2 years of data entry and customer service is preferred
- SAP experience is preferred
