Insight Global is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join one of our clients. The role is remote in Texas and must be able to travel to Dallas once every 3 months.
The Engineer will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and understand their business and technical requirements for cloud implementation. Identify their goals, challenges, and desired outcomes. Design the cloud architecture and infrastructure based on the requirements gathered. Select appropriate cloud services, such as storage, compute, networking, and security, to meet the organization's needs. Plan and execute the migration of existing systems, applications, and data to the cloud. This may involve assessing the current environment, identifying migration strategies, and managing the migration process to minimize downtime and disruption. Work with cloud engineering team to configure the appropriate cloud resources (Azure/GCP). Assist with setting up new deployment pipelines. Conduct testing to ensure that the cloud solution is functioning correctly and meeting the defined requirements. Troubleshoot any issues or errors encountered during the implementation process. Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and systems in the cloud. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Create documentation, such as implementation plans, configuration guides, and operational procedures. Provide training and guidance on how to use and manage the cloud resources effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and architects.
Pay range is 65-75/hour depending on years of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
1.) 7-10 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a development background
2.) Azure and AWS ORAzure and GCP cloud experience
3.) Experience with Kubernates, Nodejs, SQL, .NET
