A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

• Expert knowledge of laboratory techniques including safety procedures and technique
• Expert ability to analyze and solve complex problem
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution
• Outstanding customer service skill
• Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion
• Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology medical terminology
• Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information
• {SME} Expert level knowledge of human sample handling, processing, testing and shipping, and laboratory biosafety.

- Three (3) years professional level research experience
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

- Master's degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field
- Four (4) years of experience in an experimental or wet laboratory
- Four (4) years of supervisor experience
