Department Summary

The Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management is committed to creating innovative, transformative learning opportunities, activities and programs that prepare students to thrive personally and professionally as engaged members of society through the University of North Texas Dallas' strategic enrollment goals. The division is dedicated to recruiting, enrolling and retaining its student body with co-curricular engagement and development opportunities that appeal to an intergenerational population to enhance student learning beyond the classroom.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing executive, administrative, and analytical support to the Division Executive Assistant, department heads (Executive Director, Director, Assistant/Associate Vice President) and interacting with offices including the President's, Vice President's and/or external constituencies while maintaining sensitivity to confidentiality and protocol. This position provides support to the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Leadership and Success, and Enrollment Strategy and Student Administration. Coordinates activities and acts as university-wide liaison. Identifies issues or problems and researches solutions within specific management areas.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

  • Responsible for various special projects in support of the department or administrator.
  • Responsible for oversight of departmental budgetary activities.
  • Handles correspondence and calendar maintenance.
  • Responsible for the collection and analysis of data.
  • Responsible for preparation of materials for meetings and conferences.
  • Ensures required reports are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinates activities on behalf of the department head.
  • Identifies issues or problems and researches solutions within specific management areas.

Monday - Friday 8 AM -5 PM, some weekends as needed for programming
