The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) at UNTHSC is proud of its prominent role in shaping the future of the biomedical workforce. The school has three multidisciplinary departments that include Physiology & Anatomy, Pharmacology & Neuroscience and Microbiology, Immunology & Genetics. The graduate curriculum is an individual development plan (IDP)-driven and competency-based.
Position Overview
The Sr. Administrative Coordinator will provide high-level clerical support to the School of Biomedical Sciences and the Program Manager of Traditional Programs. This position will perform administrative functions such as preparing routine correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing and maintaining files. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other clerical and administrative-related duties to meet the Department's ongoing needs.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a complex organizational structure
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and independently with limited supervision Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and one year of administrative support experience.

- Undergo ongoing training on federal, state, and institutional regulations and business processes/policies.
