How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.

  • Operating systems: RHEL and Windows
  • Automation: Puppet and Ansible
  • Cisco, Dell, and Intel hardware
  • Monitoring tools (ICINGA, CTAM, MS SCOM)
  • The position will also work closely with the other groups in the infrastructure team, including the networking, data center, storage, security, and architecture teams.
  • Assist with providing administration, troubleshooting, configuration, installation, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and high availability design projects.
  • Provide high-availability operational support and automate solutions across the infrastructure.
  • Help design, plan, and implement new projects and technologies, and make sure the solutions are highly available and work well.
  • Work with the engineering team to develop and document standards and procedures.
  • Work with the engineering team and application development groups to make sure they have the resources they need to support the application environments.
  • Work across multiple functional groups for Project level support
  • Provide day-to-day operational support at the Tier 3 level, such as responding to incidents, fixing problems, and taking corrective action.
  • Conduct root cause analysis reports, to include researching potential incident or problem mitigation and preventive measures and assisting with putting those measures in place.
  • Assist with hardware maintenance and lifecycle planning.
  • When necessary, interact with software vendors to reach a resolution. This may include opening a service call, providing logs, and responding to advice received by phone call or email.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior UNIX/Linux engineer/administrator experience supporting a medium-to-large user base
  • Experience with networking protocols and components, including TCP/IP, DNS, and NFS.
  • Experience designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with automated system builds and configuration management tools, including Red Hat Satellite, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Experience performing automation in a server environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby)

  • Will have outstanding communications and organization skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability and desire to work both independently and with a team.


Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
