How will you make an impact in this role?

The best infrastructure isn't built in a day or even a year and it's certainly not built without a team. The ideal candidate will have a system engineering background and an innovative mindset of using software to solve problems. Here's just some of what you'll do:

· Build a program to support a 4 year plan to design, plan and build a new data center and associated infrastructure

· Work with platform and migration teams to design migration methods, schedule migrations and execute migrations between data centers

· Work with partners to create an application/platform and hardware roadmap to define what will be migrated to a new data center and create/manage migration/uplift plans for applications/platforms and hardware that will not move to the new data center

· Knowledge on multiple datacenter technologies such as backup, configuration management, etc.

· Strong storage and networking skills

· Knowledge of new enterprise technologies

· Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies

· Proven expertise on building/deploying/architecting virtualized solutions at Enterprise scale

· Strong working knowledge on one or more hardware platforms - Exposure to HW life cycle include from Build/Operation/Maintain/Decommission

· Deep knowledge on one or more Operating Systems - Windows/Linux/VMWARE

· Working knowledge on Public Cloud solutions

· Automate day to day tasks using scripting

· Enhance framework for onboarding new Enterprise solutions in line with AXP Security guidelines

· Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other storage/compute solutions systems and platforms within the supported domains

· Partner with various teams and stakeholders to drive project governance & Operational readiness

· Identify exciting opportunities for adopting new technology in solving existing needs

· Maintain relation with product vendors and influence road map

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field desired

· At least 4-6 years of working knowledge of HW Platforms - Dell/Cisco

· At least 5-6 years of working knowledge on VMWARE

· Strong data center, networking and storage skills

· At least 2-3 years of working knowledge on Windows/Linux

· Knowledge on scripting such as Python/PowerShell/etc

Qualifications

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
