Slack Infrastructure Engineer

An Insight Global client in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Slack Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Scottsdale, AZ 85054. The client is looking for a Slack Infrastructure Engineer who will be performing all core technical aspects to support infrastructure implementations, deployments, and technologies related to the collaborative platform, Slack. As a Slack Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure of the client's Slack environment. This includes understanding the software, architecture, authentication mechanisms, add-ons, and integrations. The responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain Slack's infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Understand Slack's software and architecture to optimize performance and scalability.
- Implement and manage authentication mechanisms and security features within the Slack environment.
- Oversee the integration of add-ons and plugins to enhance Slack's functionality.

Ensure seamless integration of Slack with other systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business units and their Slack usage.
- Partner with Slack the vendor to rollout and resolve issues as identified related to new and upgraded capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of Infrastructure experience, primarily with the collaborative platform, Slack.
- Strong troubleshooting and support experience within Slack.
- Experience working with and supporting 3rd party tools, collaboration session experience preferred (MS Teams, Webex, etc.)
- Experience troubleshoot and managing user access.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and server theories, routing principles, and concepts.
- Experience working directly with Active Directory and/or Okta, or another similar IdP (Identity Provider)
- Experience with Service Now and/or anther ticketing system.
- Experience monitoring and troubleshooting SaaS Applications.
- Experience with deploying and testing a product's security controls.
- Customer service mentality - experience and willingness to work directly with end u .

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Any previous experience within the Financial Services industry.
- Any previous Slack certifications.
- Experience with proxy, firewall, or routing issues.
- Knowledge of SaaS security best practices.
