As a Senior Technical Support Specialist with in-depth knowledge and expertise in various aspects of ACE Engineering Services activities will support the Endpoint Technology Engineering group in Raleigh, NC, and you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.

HOW A SENIOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Workstation Integration - base operating systems, software distribution, updates, and level three problem management support
  • Server Integration - base operating systems, software distribution, updates, and level three problem management support
  • Remote Management - engineering and redesign of remote management tools
  • Active Directory - design and implementation, group policies, security groups, Applocker, user and computer objects, logon authentication, scripts, replication, forest and domains, release management, production, user/account provisioning, LDAP/application support and third level problem management support
  • Migration Scripting, Development and Engineering
  • Folder Share process Development and Engineering
  • Workstation Health Development and Engineering
  • Server Health and Compliance Engineering
  • Terminal Server work and Remote App work
  • Remedy's ticket produced by work with users
  • Package engineering and development
  • Software deploy process development
  • SOX or PCI Baseline configuration and/or documentation
  • Work as requested by Desktop Computing
  • Help support Help Desk tickets for tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3
  • Other ACE related Engineering activities as requested by Desktop Computing from time to time during the Period of Performance
  • Provide statuses will be produced weekly in the form of an email
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University is preferred, but not required
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability with Workstation Integration, Server Integration, Remote Management, and Active Directory
  • Demonstrated experience with migration scripting, development, and engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with Terminal Server work and Remote App work
  • Demonstrated experience with Remedy's ticketing system
  • Demonstrated ability and experience supporting Help Desk tickets
Security Clearance Level:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
  • This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

    The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $154,211. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
