As part of the Public Safety Payroll Solution project, the Organizational Change Manager will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technologies, with an emphasis on managing change in a cross functional/departmental environment. You will create and deliver strategies and plans to help employees maximize the adoption of the modified payroll system and associated business process changes. Understand the major departmental business processes related to the public safety organization and drive the documentation of those business processes. The strategy and plan will cover pertinent topics, like stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training. Develop short and long-term goals, KPIs, and objectives, and monitor/report against them. Lead/facilitate meetings with departments to jointly implement the change to the new payroll system. This will be hybrid 2 days onsite in Fort Worth and 3 days remote.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years experience in both Change Management and Project Management

Understand the major departmental business processes related to the public safety organization

Experience in documentation of business processes.

Experience developing a communication and training plans across an organization

Familiar with Project Management tools (such as PPM Pro -- preferred, MS Project, etc)

Expertise in vendor coordination

Comfortable creating a strategy and plan to drive adoption of the new business processes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP
