Job Profile
The Sr. Epic Clinical Systems Analyst III (Cadence) ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This position is responsible for configuring, enhancing, and supporting the scheduling and appointment management functions , ensuring efficient workflow and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor's degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field or 4 years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment. Certification for at least one Epic Clinical Application (Cadence, Referrals, Welcome)
Work Experience : 5+ Years within I.T. Three (3) Years Hospital Health Care Organizations Business Analysis
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)
Writing /Composing - (Correspondence/ Reports)
Other Skills:
Analytical, Design, Research, Statistical
Advanced Education:
Bachelors Degree Major: Bachelors degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field
Work Schedule: On Call
Other Requirements:
Be available to work on site (after hours) as needed
Experience providing hands-on clinical patient care in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
At least 1 year of Epic Project and/or Epic Team Lead experience preferred.
Healthcare Information Technology experience.
Understands the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported.
Ability to recommend process improvements based upon industry standards in addition to resolving integrated process issues.
Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines.
