Sr. Product Manager - IT Infra , IT Services - CIS
Austin, Texas
Employer: Amazon
Industry: Project/Program/Product Management--Non-Tech
Salary: $136100 per year
Job type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Infrastructure Product Management team to partner with customers and stakeholders on the discovery phase of the product development lifecycle to identify pain points in existing solutions and document these as formal business requirements.
In this role, you will partner with strong technical leaders to drive definition of customer problems, business requirements, launch and post-launch measurement. You will also serve as a key player with partner teams across the company, working to align interests and implement scalable solutions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The right candidate will possess a strong product management background. Using best practices, you will implement process and technical solutions that align with our organizational goals, enhance the user experience, and continuously evolve to meet the ever-changing demands of the business. You will develop product and capability roadmaps, always looking to raise the bar and take full advantage of the tools and technology available. This is a hands-on role, directly driving implementation of these solutions across key stakeholders.
In Corporate Infrastructure Product Management, we are responsible for a wide variety of global initiatives that cross business teams and operations groups within Amazon Corporate. Product Managers are responsible for the catalog data accuracy, to include new product induction and product replacement for entries which have reached the end of their life-cycle. This role will apply technology products to solve problems and delight customers.
Product Managers use technical understanding which ensures accurate representation of a technology (benefits and risks) and the underlying Supply Chain limitations and opportunities for a proposed feature. This will impact a product's customer experience (CX), feature usability, success metrics, engineering team goals, and may impact organization-level goals. This role will work independently, seeking direction when needed to bring the Product Management team to the next level.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
