Security Foundations team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager (Technical) to lead and build solutions to enable security control monitoring at Amazon scale. You will own the vision, strategy, program execution, launch, and continuous improvement of security products. You will partner with software engineers, security engineers, applied scientists and security compliance program teams to develop innovative technologies to solve some of our hardest security and compliance problems, and build paved path solutions that support builder teams and governance risk and compliance teams across Amazon, enabling Amazon businesses to accelerate the pace of innovation to delight our customers. The right person has deep technical knowledge, a high levels of user obsession, comfortable with a high-level of ambiguity, a strong demonstrated ability to build repeatable and scalable processes, and is an independent operator skilled at aligning resources and working cross-team to deliver business impact.
Key job responsibilities
- You own the lifecycle for a large technology product or suite of products.
- You define the 3-5 year strategic vision, have a long-term roadmap, and drive teams to execute on that vision.
- You design product value propositions and communications for large audiences
- You identify and proactively manage areas of business importance related to your product(s): customer value, opportunity, endemic product architecture problems, builder resourcing, and any other large risks.
- You are able to distinguish between one-way and two-way doors. Your high judgment has led to smart risks and/or innovations with two-way doors.
- You are adept at building consensus. You align teams towards coherent technology and business strategies. You bring clarity to complexity, probe assumptions, illuminate pitfalls, and foster shared understanding.
- You partner effectively with other leaders involved in the design and development. You are able to influence their roadmap priorities and reach consensus on approach/prioritization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
