Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to senior level
  • executives.
  • Detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies.
  • Oversee the execution of acquisition programs, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor program progress, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to established timelines.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Sciences, Political Science or Contracts Management
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a Government Acquisition Program Office with experience in the following areas:
    • Government contracts
    • Managing cross functional teams
    • Business Management
  • Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to serve as the senior specialist point of contact and lead business authority for contract issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Advanced level user in Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in business, sciences, political science or contracts
  • Defense Acquisition University Level III or equivalent certifications
  • Business/Program Management certification
  • Federal Acquisition Regulations training
  • Experience in supporting contract management of government contracts and subcontracts in accordance
  • with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements
  • Experience in tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintaining associated documentation
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Experience in the management of all aspects of pre-award and post-award activities relating to complex cost-reimbursement & commercially priced Government contracts
  • Experience in the review and evaluation of industry cost/price proposals and responding to cost issues/questions during negotiations
  • Experience in supporting contract administration and close-out of complex contracts, to include conducting audits of Delivery Orders and recommending close out
  • Experience in evaluating and reviewing contract terms and conditions for contracts to ensure requirements are supporting project missions
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of contract types, methods, and techniques, and ability to provide recommendation in applying innovative ways to achieve better value procurement to support project missions

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $135,000 to $165,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

  • Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
