Job Duties

POSITION: Sr. Technical Product Manager

WORK LOCATION: Durham, NC. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S.

JOB DUTIES: Design, develop and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the U.S.

What You'll Need to be Successful

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in an IT product/program manager-related occupation, including 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Agile Scrum development methodologies
  • Project management tools JIRA and Confluence
  • Creating customer journey maps to define end-to-end customer experiences
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams
  • Designing RESTful microservices
  • End-to-end SDLC from gathering and creating developer-ready requirements to release
  • SQL Server
  • DevOps using GITLAB


All experience may be gained concurrently.

Base pay may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee's role. Company benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life, AD&D, and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, 17 days of PTO annually, 12 paid holidays, paid parental leave, an employee assistance program, and subsidized transportation options for commuters.
