Lifeguard: Current Lifeguard/ CPR / AED /First Aid Certifications

Must complete the 3 required clearances:

FBI FINGERPRINTING

Preferred Qualifications

Job Duties

Lifeguard: Responsible for monitoring the safety of pool patrons. Responsible for the opening and closing of the Anttonen Natatorium. Responsible for communicating any facility issues with Aquatic Director. Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Work in pool area which includes chlorine.
• Ability to perform rescue
• Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
