Job Summary/Basic Function

The Game Management Staff is an essential part of every athletic event at Millersville University. The responsibilities of the Game Management Staff include, but are not limited to: ball retrievers, field preparation, assembly, parking lot monitor.

Required Qualifications

• Must be dependable and responsible.
• Applicant must be available to work nights and weekends.
• Flexible work schedule - contests and events are held late in the afternoons and into the evenings, as well as weekends.
• Positive attitude and assertiveness are a must, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff, coaches, and students.
• Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints)

Preferred Qualifications

Job Duties

• Assist with game set-up and break down; serve as crowd control; support staff for select sporting events (i.e. ball person for men's and women's soccer, field hockey, volleyball, baseball, and softball, requires standing and ability to be mobile).
• Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

* Applicant must have the ability to lift 25 pounds.
