Parking Attendant

The University of Tennessee's Career Gateway is looking to fill the temporary assignment of Parking Attendant with Parking Services. Through temporary assignment placements, Career Gateway allows the opportunity to work with various departments while gaining valuable work experience. Please note that Career Gateway temporary positions do not have benefits, annual leave, or sick leave accrual.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Schedule: As needed, please see more details below.

Job Length: Up to a year, starting in August

Job Duties:

• Scanning permits
• Selling permits
• Greeting guests/fans arriving to park for football games, basketball games and arena events.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods on a parking lot in any weather condition.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be clean and neat in appearance.
• All home football games are required. (Shift is until the game begins)

Qualifications:

Job Details:

• Schedule varies depending on events such as sporting events, concerts, etc. that requires Parking Attendants present.
• All home football games are required (The shift is over once the game begins)
• For most concert events it is 4PM-as needed.
• Other events and sporting events the times can vary.

Education:

• High School Diploma

Experience:

• One year or less
