Accounts Payable Specialist

One of our top clients that offers EXCELLENT culture and solid leadership is looking to add AP talent to their growing team! We are conducting a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our great clients in the Pinellas County area. You will be integral to the centralization and growth of the department! Reference and background check will be required.

Accounts Payable Specialist Benefits and Compensation:

• Highly competitive compensation of $48,000-$56,000 (commensurate with experience)

• 100% in office in Clearwater

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Duties:

• Process high-volume invoices and work directly with vendors
• Inventory and PO experience a must
• Verify and record vendor invoices daily, weekly, monthly
• Work with multiple software systems simultaneously
• Centralize the AP process and assist with month-end close duties
• Integrate acquisitions
• Special projects, as needed

Accounts Payable Specialist Skills/Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in accounting preferred
• 3+ years AP experience required in high-volume environment
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, and tech savvy to become proficient in proprietary systems quickly
• Keen attention to detail
• Team player willing to learn new tasks
• Solid critical thinking, analysis, and attention to detail required
• Superb communications skills required
