Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an organized, highly detailed, and efficient individual with accounts payable experience, who is looking to join the team of an outstanding Pinellas County employer. We are conducting a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist! Reference and background check will be required.

Accounts Payable Specialist Benefits and Compensation:

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Duties:

• Process payables for multiple locations, up to 100 invoices/ weekly
• Utilize 3-way match
• Process freight invoices
• Work directly with vendors to resolve discrepancies, reconcile accounts
• Responsible for IRS 1099 compliance and reporting
• Ensure that vendor documentation follows departmental procedures
• Assist with month end closing as it relates to AP

Accounts Payable Specialist Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience required related to the responsibilities specified
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Team player willing to learn new tasks
• Solid critical thinking, analysis, and attention to detail required
• Superb communications skills required
