Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II to join our team in the Inpatient Pharmacy Department!

The Administrative Assistant for this business unit will manage the calendars and set up meetings for members of the pharmacy leadership team and serve as a central resource for the leadership team and pharmacy staff. This person will assist our Residency Director in program administrative tasks including those related to the match which involves scheduling and interviewing 20 candidates over a two-week timeframe. They will assist with other administrative tasks such as formatting policies, developing agenda packets, create newsletters, manage timekeeping for approximately 85 staff members (and other day to day duties and demands as identified.) The ideal candidate will not only find fulfillment in supporting the corresponding staff and duties but will also play a pivotal role in maintaining a positive workplace - including tasks such as coordinating special events and activities.

HOURS: Full-time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two-week pay period.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• An Administrative Assistant associate degree preferred.

• One to two years of prior related administrative assistant experience in a healthcare environment is beneficial.

• Possesses critical thinking skills, good communication skills, the ability to prioritize, the ability to work independently, attention to accuracy and timeliness in all work products and related work experience to develop and enhance skills.

• Computer literacy is required relative to the software programs utilized at Aspirus as well as department specific program requirements.

• Is self-directed and displays good judgment with attention to detail. Possesses good organizational skills.
