Position: Application Support Consultant

Position Location: 5 days in office at Hubs below

Cleveland, OH - 1st preference

2nd preferences:

Pittsburgh, PA

Birmingham, AL

Dallas, TX

Phoenix, AZ

Ability to work remotely: No.

Remote details and time zone(s): 24/7 Team on rotation

Eastern time zone working hours only, so Dallas will need to adjust to ET operating time.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday - 4:00 pm to 12:30 am ET

Duration: Contract to hire

Working Hours: Tuesday - Saturday - 4:00 pm to 12:30 am ET

Candidate Technical and Skills Profile:

Key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing daily:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

-Support critical applications and ensure the stability of services by performing dedicated maintenance activities

-Engage in automation activities - perform root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation

-Knowledge of production support process including incident/change/problem management, call triaging, and critical issue resolution procedures

-Work on Jira backlog when Prod Incidents and change work

Describe the required must-have technical skills, tools, or experience:

REQUIREMENTS:

-OpenShift/Kubernetes

-CI/CD Tools Knowledge like Jenkins and Bitbucket

-Linux Administration

- Ansible automation

-Incident Management

-Change Management

Education, Degrees or Certifications for the candidate to be successful:

CKA Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus

5+ years of related work experience regardless of educational background

Bachelor's degree preferred, not required (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field)
