Position Title: Process Improvement Analyst

Position Location: Pittsburgh PA- 3 days a week in office/

Strongsville OH/Remote

Ability to work remote: yes but secondary to being in Pittsburgh

Function of the group: Owns the change methodology and procedures. Work in conjunction with policy owner. Tasked with keeping items current for business processes and technology advancements.

Workflow tool being built from scratch and would like someone to come in and help digitize the paper based templates currently in process.

Candidate will help bolster the business needs/requirements for enterprise-wide change methodology at Client. As a Process Improvement Analyst, they will continually consult the Enterprise Change Office stakeholders - internal roles at PNC who are involved in the execution of change- to reimagine current state required business processes in order to construct new, innovative and automated solutions. The new solutions will improve efficiency, remove redundancy, eliminate administrative, manual processes, and streamline (enhance/replace) disparate tool(s) currently used in the execution of change. In doing so, our customers will experience increased speed to market and reduction of risk when executing a change to a Customer Product/Service, Process, and/or Technology (as defined by the Change Methodology Framework Policy.)

Team dynamic:

As an advocate for our customers, they will actively engage with a wide variety of roles across the enterprise to elicit and document specific requirements in the form of User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to define and build new innovative solutions. They will actively collaborate with the Product Owner and agile scrum team, inclusive of UX designers, other Process Improvement Analysts, and Technical Writers to ensure proposed enhancements to the methodology are well documented and understood. They will also collaborate with the ECOs Training and Organizational Change Management Team as a subject matter expert to ensure the materials produced will effectively prepare our customers to use the new application and follow the new and improved business processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Will start with basic stories and have a shadow day 1 to assistance getting acclimated to the team. Limited story points in the first sprint.

• Directs the research, discovery, collection, and interpretation of business requirements. Participates in the development and review of complex processes and procedures, workflow analytics and reporting. May provide senior level consultation and communicates with clients and technology teams on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project goals and objectives.

• Consults and recommends the frameworks, methodologies and processes involved in business requirements traceability for business analysis teams. Independently mentors, leads, and coaches other associates to affect knowledge transfer. Oversees the development and maintenance of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.

• Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. May communicate with senior level stakeholders and technology teams on complex business requirements.

• Leads multiple business analysis project management processes through planning, quality assurance and effectiveness assessment. Provides direction for the successful deployment of projects. Drives the development, analysis and distribution of complex reporting.

Technical Skills:

• Experience working as a BA/BSA on an Agile Scrum Team

• Experience eliciting business needs/requirements through various techniques, and translating business needs into User Stories and testable acceptance criteria

• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence

Flex Skills:

Technical writing experience or other writing experience

• Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models

Soft Skills:

Organization

Time management- very important

Willing to work within a team to problem solve

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills

Degrees/Certifications:

Certifications in agile/SAFe are a plus!

CBAP certification is a plus!
