*** Contract position for 6+ month; contract can be extended; contract to hire is possible.

*** REMOTE WORK -- BUT candidates who are either local -OR- can relocate to work on site ( hybrid work schedule ) in Auburn, Indiana will be given preference.

Business Systems Analyst :

- Part of the Reporting and Analytics team to generate monitoring and alerting capabilities for systems capacity and stability
- Identify new metrics for team analysis
- Identify and meet with stakeholders to determine: required events to monitor, acceptable performance thresholds, causes for concern, alert trigger conditions, etc
- Analyze data and set alerts according to business requirements, present information visually and construct narratives through graphs, charts, and trendlines

Qualifications :

- Elasticsearch (Elastic Certification is a plus)
- Kibana, particularly its alerting capabilities
- Strong data visualization and narrative construction skills
- Ideally experience with Vega and/or Vega-Lite for creating custom visualizations for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to use webhooks for integration with services like Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, or Opsgenie
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environment
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and executives
- Experience in software development/integration environments
- Elastic Certifications will be a plus : Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE), Elastic Certified Observability Engineer (ECOE), Elastic Certified Analyst (ECA), Elastic Certified App Search Engineer (ECASE), Elastic Certified Enterprise Search Engineer (ECESE), Elastic Certified Observability Associate (ECOA), Elastic Certified Specialist - Observability (ECS-O)
