JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for leading the analytics functions within the marketing department. Oversee the development and execution of marketing communication strategies, outbound call strategies, campaign analytics, rewards program analytics, and call center operation analytics. Leverage data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement, maximize campaign effectiveness, and drive revenue growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop objective, rigorous analytics to drive profitability, operational processes, and customer service improvement - e.g., identification and evaluation of revenue growth opportunities, customer behavior, optimal investment mix, competitive market dynamics.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to segment customers and tailor marketing efforts for different customer groups to maximize engagement and profitability.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of marketing campaigns, customer data, and market trends. Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to team leadership as strategic recommendations.
  • Oversee the outbound call strategy to maximize customer outreach and conversion rates. Utilizing analytics to refine call scripts, timing, and audience segmentation for improved performance.
  • Develop marketing strategies for casino promotions, loyalty programs, and other customer engagement initiatives. Ensure alignment with business objectives and budget.
  • Lead analysis of marketing campaigns and promotions. Use insights to optimize ongoing and future strategies.
  • Liaise with external partners marketing analytics, business intelligence and operations finance teams to ensure cohesive reporting related to business objectives.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in casino marketing. Use insights to recommend adjustments to marketing strategies.
  • Develop presentation materials that synthesize analyses into a format ready for senior management consumption.
  • Develop and implement reporting for near-shore operating departments to provide senior leaders visibility into trends and business performance drivers.
  • Use technology (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Python) to develop analytics and reporting tools; take an active role in integrating new technologies and tools into the department's processes.
  • Lead projects that require input from other Analytics team members; contribute to cross-Analytics team projects.
  • Perform additional job related duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing rigorous analytics and reporting results from start to finish in a marketing/casino environment.
  • Highly skilled in SQL Server and/or Teradata SQL required with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
  • Comfort in articulating complex information and analyses to a variety of audiences.
  • Advanced skills in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large data sets.
  • Proficiency in writing, debugging, and tuning SQL code required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strength in critical thinking, problem solving, and written and verbal communication.
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to quickly learn relevant database applications and software.
  • Ability to effectively interact with and influence key stakeholders, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines while consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of integrity.
