Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, facilitate, and lead meetings and oversee and execute follow-up activities
  • Respond to user requests, record and troubleshoot system issues and affect corrective action plans
  • Participate in change, defect, incident, and demand management processes
  • Lead a team of 3 analysts and/or perform as mentor for junior analysts
  • Communicate identified risks concerns and ambiguities to project management team and assist with in developing solutions and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain effective relationship with the Office of Behavioral Health assisting with aligning business priorities with Epic Behavioral Health Functionality
  • Provide analytical expertise for the development and technical support of the Epic EMR Behavioral Health
  • Maintain regular communication with other EHR/Epic teams, as well as participating/leading in weekly project team meetings
  • Maintain Special Updates/Upgrades including Review, presentation to subject matter experts and appropriate councils for approval, Build and Recommendations for training follow up
  • Work well with EHR/ Epic teams and Organization's business community, and end-users to ensure the system meets the organizations business needs
  • This role is approximately 80% remote and up to 20% on-site. The selected candidate must be able to come into the office to perform required work within 48 hours.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and
2. Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems and applications.
Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
3. Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or
4. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience.

Years of Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with Epic EMR and/or other clinical applications
  • 5+ Years of Healthcare IT/Informatics experience
  • At least 3 full life-cycle implementations
