Job Description

Provide technical support in resolving issues and performing activities dealing with audio/video systems, and other EITS service delivery matters including IT desktop related incidents. Responsible and manage for audio conferencing, videoconferencing, presentation and conference room setup and coordination.

Also Maintaining and Configuring all AV equipment and App Space applications. Assist with AV projects to support AV events among both campuses. Maintaining and working alongside the Hospital Patient TV System with the Vendor & Hospital TV Educational broadcast System.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support in resolving issues and performing activities dealing with audio/video systems, and other desktop related issue
  • Support AV events among both campus
  • Responsible for troubleshooting for all WCG related network devices including desktop, peripheral and wireless devices on both Windows and iOS platforms. Providing direct or remote troubleshooting of end-user desktop, equipment, application, device communication and connectivity issues in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for helping image creation/modification (SCCM)
  • Technical understanding of Active Directory, DNS and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Responsible for App Space Digital Signage Cloud based integration as well as onsite Hardware / Monitors for Deployment.
  • Responsible for Cisco VC / WebEx end user assistance & integration on site.
  • Support all Conference Spaces at Jacobi & NCB. Work with Vendors or other EITS Teams to integrate and manage conference space technology.
  • Technical understanding of Crestron Control Systems, integrated Conference Room Spaces, Cisco WebEx Codec integration and software Application, Cisco Video Conference Codecs & All in one Cisco Systems.
  • Technical understanding of Patient TV Provider signal pathways at both facility's, Buildings Wiring infrastructure & Head End inputs.
  • Responsible for working with Telehealth / AVIDEX on patient / waiting room TVs & all TV/Signal related issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining ticket status and resolution information in H+H ticketing system/database. Along with any Audio-Visual related Tickets.
  • Responsible for Large & Small Events and will regularly work with VIP Customers and assist how ever needed.
  • Responsible software implementation and help modifications, testing, creation of support documentation, deployment and providing deployment statistics to stakeholders.
  • Will regularly perform software upgrades and configuration enhancements as per Workplace Computing standard operation procedures
  • Will regularly manage multiple troubleshooting tasks simultaneously while maintaining the quality of results
  • Support all hardware and software Add, Change, Move, Install, Imaging, Upgrade of desktops, printers, scanners, devices, and equipment including audiovisual and ensure optimal performance of the end-user workstations
  • Minimizes client service interruptions through early identification and resolution of problems. Analyzes monitoring and maintenance data and implements changes as required to achieve optimum performance.
  • Extensive interfacing, collaboration, and coordination of efforts with vendors and other service lines within the corporation also escalate if need be
  • Performs system analysis of workstations systems to research and remediate issues
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required
  • Participate in WCG internal initiatives
  • Perform and maintain hardware and software inventor based on H+H policies


Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university; and,
2. Two years of experience in business, government, hospital, educational or a non-profit organization in analysis, development and implementation of systems and subsystems. Familiarity with EDP applications and data processing programs; or,
3. A Masters Degree in Management, Business Administration or approved related fields from an accredited college or university may be equated to a maximum of one year of related experience; or,
4. A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.
