Lab Research Technician

A laboratory research technician position is available to perform laboratory research in the fields of biochemistry and cell biology related to membrane-active peptides. This person will assist in day-to-day lab operations while working on independent research projects. He/she will coordinate and conduct experiments and carry out research projects in varied areas of biochemistry and cell biology.

• Ability to multi-task, and prioritize work assignments
  
• Ability to work independently on projects under the supervision of the PI
  
• Ability to lean and perform basic tissue culture techniques
  
• Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and maintain good working relationships
  

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
