About The Opportunity

Avaya continues to expand its addressable market with a robust (and growing) portfolio of public sector contracts in the SLED market. The Manager will provide contract obligation management by monitoring, tracking, and overseeing custom SLED contracts. This includes identifying risks and associated mitigations, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with Avaya policies and procedures, as well as government and contract requirements.

The Manager executes a program focused on contract governance, operations, and revenue growth activities across the portfolio, including the following:

  • Develop and execute processes to ensure Avaya continues to meet contractual obligations.
  • Serve as primary POC to sales to help ensure contract awareness and compliance.
  • Serve as primary POC for contract offices per contract - maintain corporate information, partner portfolio, compliance items including but not limited to insurance requirements, EEO reporting, M/WBE plan maintenance and monitoring.
  • Maintain Contract Inventory - overall framework and individual framework per contract:
    • Compliance with customer expectations (example Marketing)
    • Customer Engagement
    • Sales Engagement
    • Partner Engagement
    • Reporting - contract requirements / internal reporting
    • Products / Svc available on each, aligned with Avaya brand and products and services.
    • Expirations / Renewals
  • Create and maintain contract -related sales enablement artifacts.
    • Deck with contracts and their partners
    • Deck with partners, and their contracts
  • Partner with SLED Channel team on items to include but not limited to on and off-ramping of partners.
  • Partner with Marketing to maintain Content on Avaya SLED web site, per contract requirements and per Avaya.com brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Competitive Analysis
    • Hand in hand with opportunity pipeline - Who is winning? Who is losing? Why?
    • Analytics around results
    • Recommendations based on lessons learned
  • Contract Sales Enablement, including, but not limited to:
    • Sales Training and Education - How to Sell Avaya Services on each
    • Partner Education and Collaboration
    • Playbooks to facilitate execution
    • Build and maintain a Contract Knowledge Management Center containing a repository of reuse material.
About You

  • You have strong experience managing government contracts, particularly in the SLED market, and understand the intricacies of contract governance and compliance.
  • You possess excellent organizational skills and can effectively track, monitor, and oversee multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • You are a skilled communicator and can collaborate seamlessly across departments, acting as a bridge between sales teams, contract offices, and partners.
  • You are detail-oriented, with the ability to identify risks and proactively develop solutions.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance.
  • You have a strategic mindset and are driven by growth, with experience in sales enablement, competitive analysis, and creating actionable insights from data.
Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $160,900 - $205,000 + bonus.
