Key Responsibilities:



This position is responsible for FAA required training records compliance, input and maintenance for United's flight attendants. Data is managed to comply with Federal regulations and company policies and feeds other Crew Staffing and Scheduling systems.

  • Examine and evaluate Inflight Records (IR) system to improve existing methods for efficient processes of flight attendant regulatory training records
  • Evaluate and recommend changes or modifications in IR coding, utilizing knowledge of functions of operating coding systems and methods
  • Test/Validate errors associated with flight attendant profiles and equipment qualifications
  • Serve as first level responder to IR support team regarding audit and maintenance of records system
  • Coordinate and build associated training rosters, flight attendant qualifications status and reports with internal and external partners
  • Support initial training programs to ensure compliance training for CBTs are recorded and registered for each user
  • Support inflight records team and provide updates of Inflight Records systems
  • Collaborate with external partners in identifying codes in the records system. Build, analyze/verify and update flight attendant qualifications

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 year(s) of experience with employee record systems
  • 2 years' experience working in an airline environment
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook, various presentation tools (web conferencing, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to balance multiple projects
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 2-3 years experience Inflight Training Records managing Inflight training programs performance data, flight attendant proficiency data
