Job Summary/Basic Function

The EMEE Department is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated student to help plan and implement activities in the iSTEM Laboratory and Resource Center (iSTEM LRC ) in 208 Osburn Hall.

Required Qualifications

• Current freshman or sophomore student
• Declared STEM minor
• Committed to working at least 5 hours per week (over at least two days each week)
• Must be able to work independently and show initiative

Preferred Qualifications

Job Duties

Task may included but are not limited to:
• Lead and demonstrate various STEM -related activities and projects in the lab for other STEM minors
• Enthusiastically learn new tools, kits, and activities in order to keep iSTEM LRC activities fun and engaging
• Create email announcements and/or signage about STEM activities and schedules
• Help to clean and organize the iSTEM LRC
• Participate in recruitment activities related to the STEM minor
