What we need YOU to do:

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest financial program manager in the Division of Drinking and Ground Waters (DDAGW), working at our Central Office in Columbus.

So, what's the average day look like?

As Ohio EPA's financial program manager, you will manage federal supplemental funding for DDAGW's grant program, as well as manage and coordinate state supplemental funding for the division to include H2Ohio. You'll have autonomy to formulate, develop, enforce, and implement grant financial management program policies and procedures, developing program plans and performance measures for the intended use plan.

You'll work closely with DDAGW grant program managers to plan, develop, and administer the fiscal portion of all state and federal grants and subgrants awarded by DDAGW to determine necessary priorities and time schedules. You'll work with DDAGW program managers to review and select grant awardees, develop grant applications and proposals, and manage online grant applications.

Additionally, you'll assist in managing the annual work plan deliverables and payments for DDAGW technical services providers, planning and managing the development of the capability reports for the drinking Water Assistance Fund. You'll work with management to create and submit Request for Proposals (RFP) for grant related projects and review invoices related to RFPs. You'll help formulate and implement fiscal policies and procedures for the entire division.

Qualifications

54 mos. exp. or 54 mos. trg. financial administration.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
