FLISR Program Manager

System One is actively seeking a FLISR Program Manager for a long-term contract position working a hybrid schedule out of Minneapolis, MN.

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated FLISR Program Manager to oversee and coordinate the Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FLISR) program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project management, and leadership, with a focus on driving successful design, construction, device installation, and integration within the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate, and drive the FLISR process from design and construction to device installation and integration with ADMS.
• Collaborate with field and FLISR engineers to monitor and manage the programming and testing of protection devices.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of every stage of engineering through comprehensive gate checks and quality assurance measures.
• Support the development of job aids for various FLISR activities, promoting efficiency and consistency in the execution of tasks.
• Proactively develop and manage the program budget, ensuring completion within guided variance, and maintaining cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track issues and maintain reporting processes to facilitate the smooth implementation of the FLISR program, escalating any concerns to management for timely resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the utility industry, preferably with a focus on FLISR and ADMS.
• Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in relevant engineering software tools and applications.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to FLISR and distribution systems.

Pay Rate: $105.00/hr.

Project Location: Hybrid schedule out of Minneapolis, MN

Contract Duration: 10-months with possible extension
