Responsible for monitoring the day to day department activity; provides training and in service education, provides a work schedule to meet staffing requirements. Exhibits teamwork, excellent customer service and peer relations skills.Description

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Able to utilize a PC with typing proficiency of 50 WPM.
• Previous knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Must be able to maintain positive public relations image in all medical staff and interdepartmental communications.
• Must relate to physicians, coworkers and patients in a courteous, helpful and respectful manner.
• Is expected to participate in a team effort to accomplish department goals, must be willing to rearrange schedules according to department needs.
• Must be able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
