Team Introduction
The Listing & Optimization Product team at TikTok is dedicated to developing comprehensive listing strategies for TikTok's eCommerce products. We focus on enhancing the size, richness, and quality of the catalog in TTS, driving revenue through increased supply. The team establishes a single source of truth for merchandise data, creates efficient tools for sellers across various channels, and implements systems for improving listing quality. Our goal is to build a strong foundational product that supports the growth of TikTok's eCommerce business.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:
Monday, May 12
Monday, May 19
Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)
Monday, June 9
Monday, June 23
We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).
Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.
Responsibilities
- Provide Clear Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for e-commerce listings, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Identify market trends, seller needs, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
- Seller Experience: Advocate for seller experience by designing intuitive and engaging product listing and optimization interfaces. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the listing experience.
- Collaborate with XFN: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product Market Manager, engineering, and design, to create cohesive listing experiences.Collaborate with sellers and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine product features.
- Data Analysis : Track and report on key metrics related to product listings and optimization , making adjustments as needed to optimize performance.Analyze performance metrics and seller feedback to inform product improvements and prioritize features.Utilize data-driven insights to enhance the quality and effectiveness of product listings.
- Project Management: Lead product development cycles, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.Manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with development teams to ensure alignment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
-Currently pursuing a full-time MBA or related discipline.
- A deep passion for content e-commerce.
- Strong SQL and analytical skills with experience in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in product management, preferably in e-commerce or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics , or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing product lifecycles and delivering successful product launches.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, listing optimization techniques.
