We are looking for a talented and technical Senior Scrum Master to join the Cloud Engineering & Operations team in Cloud Services. This position will be focused on delivering onboarding, guidance, and management to teams that are leveraging the public cloud along with partnering with other IT teams. The team focuses on enabling teams through self-service. The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives under ambiguity, and embraces change passionately. You will have a hands-on role in managing the Scrum process within software development teams, helping them adopt and improve the Scrum methodology.

SCRUM Master - Senior Job Details
Responsible for overseeing all task activities assigned to the Scrum team are performed in a timely manner with minimal technical debt, while maintaining the highest quality of performance. Will interface with client personnel and use oral and written communications skills to develop great working relationships with stakeholders. Will lead Scrum team(s) to perform planning, development, and testing on large software development, automation, vendor, and platform management. Conduct all Scrum-related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospective, and client demos. Interface with product owners on an active basis to manage product backlog and sprint activities. Remove obstacles and manage risks to enable team efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure all scrum activities are tracked, kept up-to-date, and reported on a daily basis.

SCRUM Master - Senior Mandatory Skills
• Must be a certified Scrum Master
• 5+ years experience leading technical scrum teams in delivering high-quality digital solutions with .net-based or java-based web applications
• 5+ years of experience facilitating the scrum practices (leading ceremonies, empowering teams, identifying coaching opportunities)
• High level of computer literacy; ability to learn new tools and products quickly
• Understanding and experience with broad technical skills across multiple domains (technology, information, process, applications, etc.) and platforms (mainframe, web-based, PCF, etc.) and databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB)
• Prior Technical lead experience providing mentoring and support, etc.
• Proven ability to remove impediments, assist decision-making, escalation-timing
• Experience with Atlassian suite of products: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo (or similar suite of tools)
• Working knowledge of Agile Development Practices, iterative development, and methodologies in large cross-functional organizations
• Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile framework
• Understanding of CI/CD practices, lean methodologies
• Understanding of QA practices
• Experience with full software development life cycle through deployment

SCRUM Master - Senior Desired Skills
• Financial, Trading, brokerage services industry experience is a plus
• PMI-ACP, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), or Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred
• The ability to be a facilitator who is creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
• Prior experience leading and coaching teams to deliver with a consistent or increasing velocity
• Ability to build trust with diverse teams and individuals across the organization
• Must be an excellent team player and a servant leader
• Highly adaptable to changing environment
• Ability to coach teams to reach their highest potential
• Excellent written/verbal communication and people-interaction skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Experience with scoping, sizing, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects, assessing the appropriate level of risk, reviewing team deliverables, and being the single point of contact for stakeholders
