Overview:
As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding and facilitating agile development teams. Your expertise in Scrum methodology, ADO , metrics , coaching, and leadership will contribute to successful project execution. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor other Scrum Masters, and ensure the smooth flow of work.

Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and Thought Leadership:
    • Provide coaching and thought leadership on Agile principles to the team.
    • Embrace and demonstrate the servant leadership philosophy.
  • Scrum Execution:
    • Ensure the quality of Scrum execution, including story card definition of readiness and done.
    • Commit to on-time delivery.
    • Work with the Product Owner to balance features and high-quality working software.
    • Facilitate Release (Planning) Workshops.
    • Monitor transparency of release vision.
    • Promote commonly accepted Agile/Scrum practices.
    • Coordinate among the Scrum Team and monitor adherence to Scrum practices.
    • Keep the team focused on current Sprint goals.
  • Qualifications:
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, CSPO, PSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, SAFe).
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
    • Desired skills: Kanban, conflict resolution, facilitation, situational awareness, empowerment, transparency, servant leadership, XP, and Agile principles.
    • Experience maintaining team performance metrics, educating the Scrum Team, and driving productivity improvements.
    • Ability to champion quality and technical excellence.
  • Agile Practices and Framework Knowledge:
    • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
    • Mastery of agile principles, values, and mechanics.
    • Ability to apply various agile practices effectively, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Facilitation and Coaching Abilities:
    • Exceptional facilitation skills to guide teams through Scrum events and decision-making processes.
    • Act as a coach for the development team, product owner, and the entire organization.
    • Foster an environment of open collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
  • Leadership and Strategic Mindset:
    • Influence organizational change and drive strategic initiatives.
    • Mentor other Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners within the organization.
    • Provide leadership that empowers teams to achieve their goals.
  • Conflict Resolution:
    • Effective conflict resolution skills to address team dynamics and challenges.
    • Create a positive and productive working environment by resolving conflicts constructively.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset:
    • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
    • Drive improvements in processes, practices, and team performance.

Qualifications:
  • Certifications: PMP, CSM, CSPO, PSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, SPC, SAFe, ITIL.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Education, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
