Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Criminology and/or Family Studies/Services and four (4) years of any combination of experience including working with communities, working on health or social service related matters, social work/case management experience, behavioral health and/or health care. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting: late hours and weekends work may be required. Will be exposed to regular periods of video display terminal and keyboard usage and stressful situations. Travel may be required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Must have own mode of transportation. Incumbent may be required to furnish a personal vehicle for carrying out assignments.

Why does the job exist?
The Social & Community Services Coordinator - Advanced/State Opioid Response (SOR) Prevention Program Manager will:
- Manage a two-year federal grant aimed at the monitoring and oversight of grant activities;
- Ensure that SOR contract deliverables meet standards and requirements set by policy as specified;
- Monitor and maintain federal and state contract compliance requirements and deliverables by developing yearly scopes of work, preparing all required progress reports and data internally for BHSD and for the grantor.
How does it get done?
The Social & Community Services Coordinator - Advanced/State Opioid Response (SOR) Prevention Program Manager is responsible for:
- Overseeing daily prevention grant activates to ensure grant objectives and requirements are fulfilled, contract compliance is monitored, data collection requirements are met, and grant funds are properly expended;
- Coordinating prevention grant communication among grant stakeholders and sub-contractors;
- Providing technical assistance and support to sub-contractors to support grant activities;
- Providing fiscal management to ensure appropriate expenditure of grant funds. Program manager will monitor and maintain the grant prevention budget and approve monthly invoices.
