Job Description

Associate Director of Health Care Standards will manage programs related to the Planetree philosophy of Person- centered Care across the system. Will be involved with assessment, data analysis, and strategy planning to improve the employee and patient experience. Will report to and work closely with Care Experience Officer at their facility/service line, other facility-based Person-centered Care Program Managers, facility leadership, patients/residents, employees as well as work with the Central Office Care Experience and workforce Wellness departments.

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Planetree/Person Centered initiatives to improve the quality of care and transform the patient experience including workflow redesign, performance improvement, education, training and retreats for leadership, physicians and staff.
  • develop and promote co designed (inclusive of patients and employees at all levels) PI projects to include patient and family voices in improvement activities.
  • Utilize evidence based approaches to drive improvement in the patient experience ( patient, residents and family voices) by embedding compassionate person centered healthcare techniques including partnership in support of the theme "Nothing for me without me", solution generation and improvement planning.


Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Administration, Public Administration or approved related program; and,
2. Six years of full-time, paid experience of progressively responsible level in hospital administration with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of health care delivery services; or,
3. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital or Health Administration, Health Care Planning, Public Health, Administrative Medicine, Business Administration, Public Administration or approved related program; and,
4. Five years of full-time, paid experience as indicated in (2); or,
5. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
