This Senior Business Analyst will join the Equipment PMO and IoT Innovation team of Ecolab RD&E. In this role, a successful candidate will partner with divisional product owners, ECS engineering project managers and Software Engineering team members to develop new cross-application equipment platforms (controls, dispensing and/or sensor solutions). This team member will focus on proof of concept (PoC) creation for disruptive technologies and development/commercialization of new equipment solutions across divisions, applications and sectors.

What you will do:
  • Partner with divisional product owners to obtain, analyze and document business use cases
  • Facilitate user story gathering and design sessions with user community, and collaboratively defines solutions that address key opportunities
  • Work with application teams and developers to prioritize and translate user stories into clear technical requirements
  • Collaborate with divisional stakeholders and engineering teams to outline robust user acceptance criteria, execute test plans and document test results


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6 years professional experience
  • 2 years' experience working as a business analyst or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • No immigration sponsorship available


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Microsoft DevOps
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective communication with both business and technical partners
  • Strong problem-solving, analytic, conceptual, and critical thinking skills
  • Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive execution
