In 2024, Allina Health will successfully complete the foundational build of their CRM ecosystem, with Salesforce as the central component. We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Marketing Technology team and play a pivotal role in driving Allina Health's business transformation.

In this dual role as a Business Analyst and Administrator, you will actively engage in configuration activities within applications, with a primary focus on Salesforce. The position involves extensive collaboration with internal stakeholders to analyze, design, develop, and maintain technical application systems that cater to the evolving needs of our business. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into precise technical system specifications for various teams within the Information Systems (IS) department. Additionally, the role encompasses the development and delivery of training sessions for end users, ensuring effective utilization of system functionality, and providing continuous support. You may also contribute recommendations regarding process improvement, the adoption of new tools, techniques, or services.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a solid foundation in Salesforce, exceptional analytical skills, and extensive experience in defining and improving business processes. Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) administration
    • Perform primary administration, declarative customization, maintenance and operation of Salesforce Health Cloud, Data Cloud, Tibco, Formstack and Invoca. Secondary administration of Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Intelligence and CRM-A
    • Maintain user security, profiles and roles
    • Proactively identify and troubleshoot functional discrepancies and issues
    • Leverage Trailhead to train new and existing users
    • Provide technical support & service, including building and maintaining a Knowledge Base
    • Keep CRM application users informed about system functionality and enhancements
    • Design and manage ongoing configuration and enhancements
    • Participate in design and development of data integration processes
  • Analysis and documentation
    • Identify and define business, functional and interface requirements
    • Develop and present conceptual and functional models and prototypes to users for analysis and evaluation
    • Validate resource requirements, develop cost estimate models and/or build vs buy analysis
    • Manage complex requirement conflicts
    • Process and validate service requests impacting multi-disciplinary IT teams from the analysis and definition of customer requirements through intake, approvals, service delivery, implementation and fulfillment
    • Analyze and provide solutions or recommendations to resolve customer inquiries impacting multi-disciplinary IT teams for functionality not working as implemented
    • Communicate to and negotiate with internal IT providers of hardware, software and network requirements
    • Implement, modify, test, and administer business system applications
    • May develop data dictionary, entity relationship diagrams and meta data definition
  • Customer management and support
    • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
    • Implement, tests, and deploy solutions to business problems
    • Follow incident, change and release management processes
    • Provide on-call support outside of regular business hours
    • Provide training for end-users and other analysts
  • Vendor Management
    • Lead and coordinate the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring a streamlined and efficient experience
    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with vendors to understand and address their needs
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding application functionality, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
    • Work collaboratively with vendors to optimize application features and functionality in alignment with business objectives
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to vendor onboarding and application functionality
  • Project Management
    • Manage medium to large, complex projects by developing project plans and monitoring performance
    • Lead larger project teams utilizing project methodology tools
    • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Team leadership
    • Mentor and coach lower-level analysts

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst utilizing Agile Methodology
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce administration, Salesforce Health Cloud administration or similar CRM platform experience
  • 1+ years of experience with CRM (Salesforce, Zoho, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Reside within 60 miles of Twin Cities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, most desirably Health Cloud
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Apex, HTML, JavaScript, AMPscript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Proven analytical and solid problem-solving skills, with an ability to think creatively and with attention to detail
  • Proven curiosity to research and learn about new marketing technologies, along with a desire to develop expertise in those technologies where relevant
